This Weekend! (October 24th-26th)
Okay Guys!
There is a lot to remember about this weekend : )
First: The Fish Fry is super important. From Friday from 4:30 to 7:30 we need volunteers to help with the dinner. It is a specific fundraiser for this year's MAP Trip, so you'll want to be there. Also, bring a dessert PLEASE!
Second: The Corn Maze is on Sunday instead of youth group. We will be meeting at the church at 1 pm and drive down to Iron's Fruit Farm together. It should be fun : ) I'll call you to remind you and give you all the details. I just want you to save the date!

Can you sing "I'm not who I was" about yourself? Do you want to?
Well God wants us to. In John 5:24 he talks about crossing over from death to life. He wants us to leave our old life behind.
Colossians 3:12 tells us to clothe ourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. What would your life look like if every time you changed your clothes you decided to put on those things? How would you be different? (Also, this came up in discussion- someone pointed out that when you are dirty you actually have to change your clothes, not just cover yourself in axe body spray. you might smell good, but you are still dirty...good point!)
Start thinking about your life and what needs to change-then ask God to help you change : )
